Bullseye November 2014
Mid-round between proof updates, WestGen introduces several new Genomax options for customers to consider. These young stars are selected because they are extreme either for LPI, TPI, Type or a combination of characteristics including unique bloodline. This latest sampling provides a bit of all of these aspects, and there is certain to be one or several to consider for your herd.
Silverridge Endure (Doorman x Snowman x Planet) – He’s a brother to the very popular Genomax bulls Wickham and Envious from the VG-87 Snow Evening, and he is sired by the ultra-popular Doorman. Add to that that he is rated +19 for Type and nearly 3300 for LPI and it’s not hard to imagine why he has had a following for a number of months leading to his release. What more needs to be said? Go ahead and use him!
Norca Silky Alonzo (Mascalese x Dempsey x Alexander) – Uniquely bred, Alonzo is a son of Mascalese from a VG-2YR Dempsey. Behind that is a high scoring family with unique sires back in the pedigree like Marshall, Bosco, Duster, Melwood, Highlight, etc. Ratings of nearly 3300 LPI (with a DGV of over 3400) and +19 Type (DGV +22) make him a sire that stands out from the pack. We’ve had lots of interest and expect supply to be limited.
Silverridge V Extreme (Supersire x Snowman x Planet) – There are many highly ranked Supersire sons out there, but it is hard to find any rated as high for Type as Extreme. At +15 for Type and with a DGV LPI over 3500, this is a bull we’ve been waiting on for a number of months. His dam is a VG-86 Snowman from Planet Eve. Now that he is here, go ahead and take advantage as he will be an impact sire.
Snowbiz Channel (McCutchen x Snowman x Shottle) – Another high Type McCutchen son on offer, it’s hard to imagine that his 4th dam is a full sister to Lauthority. The Laurie Sheik family is a safe bet to deliver solid cows for any herd. Channel has the ratings to suggest he will be yet another star from this star-studded family.
