New Mid-round Genomax Additions

As new bulls reach puberty and begin semen production, more and more we find ourselves able to offer some very enticing new bulls between official proof releases. As much as possible we release these bulls at the mid-point between proof dates when the intention is to make them fully available. In addition to these, these are many more that become available, but need to be ordered first. Here then, are some of the new bulls on offer:

 

	Westcoast RANDALL – Loptimum x Numero Uno – This is a bull we have been anxiously waiting for as he is simply the highest LPI bull available anywhere. With a rating of 3446 and a DVG LPI of 3618, he is off the charts in terms of the extent to which his DNA test exceeds his parent average – estimated at 400 LPI points! He is that all-rounder with high production yields, excellent Type improvement and very strong Health and Longevity numbers, including a prediction for extremely easy calving. Sired by Loptimum (a Shotglass son, who in turn is a Snowman son), he is also a bit different pedigree-wise. In summary if you select for LPI this is a bull you need to consider.
	Claynook FELIX – Supershot x McCutchen – A terrific new Robot-Ready™ option, Felix comes with tremendous Pine-Tree Missy cow family credentials and is well suited for those with robots, and those planning for robots. His 3336 LPI rating is impressive and the Supershot x McCutchen combination seems like a winner too.
	Westcoast TICKET – Silver x Tango – An early Silver son, Ticket is another Robot-Ready option that offers a balance of Type (+12) and Production (+90 F, +62 P) as well as a balance of LPI (3265) and especially TPI (2659). He’s an easy-to-use bull that is easy to incorporate into any breeding program.
	Sandy-Valley COPIOUS – Bombero x Morgan – Another easy sire to use in any breeding program, Copious is a Bombero (Uno) from a Morgan (Bookem) dam. A nice balance of LPI (3234), TPI (2639), Type (+13) and Production (+2215 M, +88 F & +70 P), Copious offers a slightly different pedigree too.
	River Dale DIRIGENT – Wickham x McCutchen – An excellent new Robot Ready option, Dirigent combines the very popular Wickham with the very typey Dabble family. Not surprising then that he is a Type specialist rated +15 for Conformation. Specializing in foot structure and a good option for loin strength and rump angle, he’ll make a few nice 4-H calves!
