Update on PROVEN Sires

DOORMAN (Bookem x Shottle) – His long anticipated Canadian debut has not disappointed type enthusiasts across the country as Doorman debuts as the #1 type sire in Canada at +19. Doorman also has terrific fat (+0.45) and protein (+0.35) deviations and very low SCS (2.49). Doorman will sire wide chested, wide rumped cows with a lot of capacity. He is a really good fore udder improver at +16. Now that Doorman is healthy his price has also become a bit more affordable too.

SMURF (Snowman x Planet) – The new #1 Pro$ bull in Canada and #3 on the GLPI list. Smurf added over 150 daughters to his type proof and now has over 400 daughters in his production proof and his components improved. He increase his fat by 6kgs and protein went up 7kgs. His type profile did not change even with the base change this round in Canada. Smurf is an easy sire to incorporate into almost any breeding program and he is a REPROMAX sire.

SYMPATICO*RDC(Snowman x Planet) – This popular red carrier bull does not disappoint in his second proof run gaining nearly 500kgs of milk finishing at 1902kgs of milk. Increasing his GLPI by 168 LPI points landing him in the number six spot for LPI. Sympatico is also a Repromax and Robot Ready Sire.

CARAMINATOR (Snowman x Baxter) – Making his first official proof Caraminator is a bull that will lower pins with a 3L for rump angle improve both fat +.38% and protein +.27.  With and very function type break down(10 Conformation, 8 Mammary System, 10 Feet and Legs, 8 Dairy Strength, 4 Rump) and being backed by his VG-89-2yr-Can dam R-Z Baxter Caramel-ET he is going to be popular sire. He is a Robot Ready Sire.

Update on GENOMAX Sires

EXPANDER (High Octane x Uno) – The first High Octane son is hitting our proof sheet and he is sure not to disappoint. With 1540kgs of milk 18 for type 17 for mammary system, 9 for feet and legs, 14 for dairy strength, and 8 rump. This bull is going to make them fancy.  Expander is named right because he is going to expand your herd with a herd life of 108, a SCS of 2.75 and daughter fertility of 107 they will be sure to last.  With an 86-2yr Uno dam that milked 12,663 kgs in her 305 day first lacation he is a sure fit for any herd.

MOVIEINK (Wickham x McCutchen) – A son from the very popular Genomax sire Wickham is now on the proof sheet.  With a GPA LPI of 3109 and 1883kgs of milk along with a very attractive type break down of +17 type, +15 mammary system, +14 feet and legs, +13 dairy strength, and +4 rump you can look at him to make fancy calves. Backed 7 VG or EX dams you can see where these numbers come from.

Cedarwal CREW (Kingboy x Numero Uno)– This new chart topping sire was bred right here in Western Canada. He is +3273 GLPI and is sired by Kingboy x Numero Uno x Robust x Planet x Larcrest Cosmopolitan. This unique sire stack puts together good milk with positive fat and protein. He sires terrific feet and legs and very pleasing above breed average health traits. He is also Immunity+.

UPPERCUT (Unix x Sudan)– Outcross alert!! Uppercut has a very unique pedigree He is sired by the high type Numero Uno son, Unix, and his dam is a Sudan followed by a Bronco, Satire, and then an Aaron. UPPERCUT combines over 1000kgs of milk, positive fat and protein deviations, +15 for conformation, +16 for feet and legs, +5 for rump and he is above average for all of his health traits.

ORION (Kingboy x Mogul)– High type and high milk is the best way to describe this new release sire. ORION is a Kingboy son from a Mogul dam followed by a Shamrock, Goldwyn, Allen, and then Coldsprings Dur Chan 109 EX-95-2E. This cow family breeds high type, ORION is +15 for conformation, +15 mammary systems, +14 feet and legs and +11 dairy strength. This sire also got the high milk to go with it at +2048kgs of milk.

SPIDERMAN (Pure x Numero Uno) – Hitting the Genomax list is Spiderman slinging his web with a GPA LPI of 3289 with 1855kgs of milk 71kgs of fat and 61kgs of protein.  Having a solid type break down this bull really excels on his functional traits. With 111 herd life, 2.69SCS, 109 daughter fertility and 104 for calving ease he is a great all around bull.

INCREDIBULL RED (Dresser x Applejack) – This outcross red bull hits the proof as the number one type genomic red bull at 15 for type.  With that he also boasts 1125kgs of milk and +.08 for protein. He is backed by 9 generations of VG or EX.  Did we mention that he is RED as well?
